Peddle My Wheels (PMW) Terms and Conditions for Bike Markets.

1. Sellers


(a) Photo I.D. - all Sellers must show photo I.D. upon request before PMW will accept a bike to sell.


(b) PMW will immediately report any bicycle and the Seller to the police if its ownership is questioned by a person claiming the bike as their own. The bicycle will remain with PMW until the matter is resolved by the police.


(c) Pricing – if the Seller does not specify a price we will sell the bike at a suitable price for the specific bike.


(d) We will endeavour to sell at the intended price unless we are notified otherwise by email. If the Seller disagrees with price they must notify us by email/electronic message.


(e) Fees - upon sale of the bike, PMW will keep the percentage of sale price if there is any due + any repair costs agreed and the Seller receives the remainder of the sales proceeds.


(f) Payments are made electronically on the first Monday of the week (Tuesday one Bank Holiday Mondays).


(g) Unsold Bikes – we hold bikes indefinitely. The owner is entitled to collect at any time but if repairs have been undertaken, PMW must be compensated for the cost of these.


 
2. Buyers


(a) Used Bicycles


(i) All used bicycles are sold as seen and PMW hold no responsibility for any damages incurred as a result of purchasing a bicycle through PMW.


(ii) PMW will give all the bikes for sale a basic service but this is not a guarantee of the bike’s reliability.


(iii) Returns Policy - we offer a 30 day period for the Buyer to return goods. As long as we receive notification to info@peddlemywheels.com within this period and the goods are in the same condition as when sold, a full refund will be given.



(b) New Bicycles and Accessories


(i) We offer a 30 day period for the Buyer to return goods. As long as we receive notification to info@peddlemywheels.com within this period and the goods are in the same condition as when sold, a full refund will be given.


(ii) the Buyer must package goods correctly and organise delivery and will be refunded for costs upon receipt of goods by PMW.


(iii) Warranties - all manufacturer warranties will apply and the appropriate forms should be completed by the Buyer. The retailer is Peddle My Wheels Ltd.

 

3. Repairs and Services

(a) Our Commitment - our mechanics are minimum level 2 Cyctech or equivalent qualified. They will endeavour to carry out the repair/service job as per the agreed quote and at the agreed date and time.

(b) Cancellation - if the customer needs to change the appointment date we request that they give us at least 24 hours notice and we withhold the right to charge a cancellation fee of £10 should it be cancelled within this time period.

(c) Additional costs - if upon inspection of the bike the cost of the job will increase by £15 or more than the agreed quote then the mechanic will check with you before going ahead. The other work will be carried out regardless and charged for.

(d) Incomplete jobs - if the job requires additional work that the mechanic is unable to carry out during the appointment they will either take the bike back to our workshop to complete the job and return the bike at an agreed time; or return to the customer with any additional parts and complete the job at an agreed time. The only costs in either instance will be for the parts and labour - there will be no additional delivery fee.

(e) Guarantee - we offer a 30 day guarantee on all work with the work being carried out at no cost should it be necessary. 


 
 
4. Complaints
